Scalarcurvatureofcolorspace as a Source of Information of New Uniformity Aspects concerning to Color Representation Systems

The principal aim of the differential colorimetry is perhaps to find a system of color representation which is homogeneous and isotropic, i.e., a uniform color space. Such a system would offer certain advantages, especially for the technical procedures, because minimum perceptible differences (differential chromaticity thresholds) would be represented as circles with the same size in the chromaticity diagram. Many studies [ I . 31 have worked towards this aim. Certain of these analyses have used various systems to represent differential color or chromaticity thresholds obtained experimentally from real observers. The experimental results suggest a theoretical line element on one hand, on the other, test line elements which are based on color-vision models. MOTS CLB :
